SUMMARY:Exploring Grief through Creativity Workshop: Mini Books
DESCRIPTION:If you are grieving the death of a loved one\, and are inspired by art-making and creativity\, join us for an Exploring Grief through Creativity workshop. Facilitated by a Victoria Hospice Bereavement Counsellor with Expressive Arts training\, we provide a non-judgmental creative container for you to access and explore your experiences of grief through various visual art supplies. In this workshop we will be creating some mini books where you can write a meaningful poem or special memories.  No prior “art” experience is required to participate – just a willingness and interest to try something creative. \nThis is a 2 hour\, in-person workshop taking place at the Victoria Hospice Community Support Centre at 102-4450 Chatterton Way. \nThere is no charge to attend this workshop\, however registration is required. As we are a donor-funded organization\, though not expected\, should you be in a position to donate\, please follow the link here: Your support is needed | Ways to donate to Victoria Hospice \nWhat to expect: \n\nWelcome and introduction;\nAn opportunity for creative exploration in mini book making;\nA guided reflective writing exercise;\nA group discussion and invitation to share with other participants.\nTea/coffee and some snacks will be available.\n\n  \nSpace for this workshop is limited to 10 people.
