Did you know that charities like Victoria Hospice rely on end-of-year giving for almost a third of their annual revenue? The last six weeks of the year are some of the most important to ensure we can continue providing compassionate care for patients and families.
Thankfully, during the Canada Post strike, there are lots of easy ways to donate to Victoria Hospice:
- Online: Make a one-time gift or set up monthly giving through our secure website. Your tax receipt for one-time gifts will immediately be sent to your email. Donate online today!
- By Phone: To make a donation by phone using your credit card, please call us at 250-519-1744 from 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- In Person: Drop off a cheque payable to Victoria Hospice at the following locations:
- Victoria Hospice Fund Development Office, 4th Floor Richmond Pavilion, 1952 Bay Street (Royal Jubilee Hospital campus), 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
- Victoria Hospice Community Support Centre, 102-4450 Chatterton Way in Broadmead, 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday
- There is also a donation drop-box on the Victoria Hospice Inpatient Unit
- Request a cheque pick-up: If you would like to donate by cheque and are unable to deliver it in person, call Loralee at 250-519-1744 to make arrangements to have it picked up.
- Give a gift of securities: It’s a simple and cost-effective way to support Victoria Hospice. Simply complete the Gift of Securities Transfer Form (PDF) with your financial advisor and ask them to initiate the transfer. Your broker can have the securities electronically transferred, meaning you can donate from the comfort of your home! Or contact Wendy by email or at 250.519-1749.
- Monthly Giving: When you join our Hospice Hearts Monthly Giving Club, you’ll be part of a compassionate community who make end-of-life care possible each and every month. Sign up online or call 250-519-1744. We’ll send you a consolidated tax-receipt in February each year.
Thank you for supporting compassionate end-of-life care this holiday season.
