Living with Grief: Adjusting to Life After Loss (In Person)

Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

A two-hour Grief 101 educational workshop for those who are grieving following the death of a someone important to them. This is an education-based workshop, giving participants a chance to learn and reflect on different ideas about grief and mourning, while encouraging questions and comments from participants.

Have you recently lost someone important to you? Are you wondering what is normal and how best to cope? This workshop, developed by the grief counsellors at Victoria Hospice, will help you understand your grief and offer a chance to connect with other grievers in our community. Join us as we:

  • Explain how grieving naturally works to help us live with our losses
  • Explore the many ways that grief can impact our lives
  • Identify ways to support healthy adjustment to loss
  • Explore your continued connection to the person who has died
  • Share and support one another in your grieving experiences

This workshop will take place at our Community Support Centre at 102-4450 Chatterton Way. Please do not attend if you have signs of illness/infection. We appreciate your attention to this matter.

Please only register if you know you can attend on this date, as your ticket represents one of a finite number of tickets. Please call 250-519-3040 to let us know if you need to cancel your registration for this event so that we can offer this ticket to someone else.
