The Donor Relations Officer is an integral part of Victoria Hospice’s fundraising team. This multi-faceted role coordinates Victoria Hospice’s efforts to establish strong, long-term relationships with donors. Responsibilities include reception, print production coordination (for donor appeals), writing and editing (for donor newsletters), event management for donor stewardship events, and maintenance of recognition displays, along with providing support to the fundraising team for events and grants.
This full-time, 9-month contract (maternity leave coverage until March 31, 2020) reports to the Director of Fund Development, and works closely with all members of the Fund Development Team, as well as with the Manager of Communications, and the Database Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in sales, customer service or fundraising, and a post-secondary education in a related field, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or similar CRMs an asset.
