Guy Fenn
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I share with you the passing of my second dad, Guy Fenn. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer but his pain finally ended Friday evening, August 30, 2019.
My mom and I stayed the night in Hospice on Thursday and I talked to him for hours. Even though he was not responsive, I know he heard me.
Mom was holding his hand when he passed. I arrived just minutes later. Perhaps it was appropriate that it was just her and him for his last breath.
He was brilliant, thoughtful, caring and wise beyond words.
I am so very glad he got to meet his granddaughter and be part of her life for a few months. She will know him through pictures and stories.
More than a step father. More than a father figure.
He is dearly missed and always loved. – Peter March
