The British Columbia Hospice Palliative Care Association calls for hospice volunteers to be deemed essential for the future of quality hospice palliative care and be recognized as essential positions during and post COVID19.

A new report from the Provincial Hospice Working Group (PHWG), proposes a series of actions to prepare hospice organizations to work together to address the needs of British Columbians affected by aging and serious illnesses in local communities.

Talking about our health-care wishes and the end of life is not always easy. Victoria Hospice’s Education and Research team has introduced a game to the community that makes it easier to explore, reflect, and share wishes and values around end-of-life care.
