Bearing Witness to Suffering and Joy
A life-limiting diagnosis can turn your world upside-down. Coming to terms with a loved one’s illness and end-of-life care can be world-shattering for families too. Our community counsellors provide registered Victoria Hospice patients and families with emotional support and strategies to help people live as well as they can throughout their end-of-life journey.

Victoria Hospice’s Flagship Program Successfully Shifts to Online Format
By June 2020, we recognized that the public health restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic meant we had to adjust the delivery of our Fall PCMI program to an online format. “It was such a short time frame in which to pivot. But we were eager to embrace the flexibility of an online format and, of course, ensure everyone’s safety. That was priority number one.”
